The Story
So I'm off of work and I feel like breaking out... I call up my buddy Dave, and he's game! I jump in the car and speed over. The roads are a little wet, but it's not raining anymore. I pull in the driveway and pick him up. Away we go! Weee. I love driving crazy. But this was too much. We turn real sharply on to my street... and by god we almost were in an accident right then and there... but I snapped the car back and turned her straight. We pull into my driveway and go back towards dave's house before we go out. As we're driving up towards it, I make a snap decision to pull in his driveway. I slam the wheel 90 degrees to the left... and we start sliding. I hit the brakes... "Okay." I'm thinking. "This isn't going well..." We bump over the apron and slide across the wet grass. The brakes lock up and I expect the car to stop any moment now. The garage is coming closer and closer... but the car is slowing and slowing... almost- BAM! Although we were slowing down, it wasn't fast enough. We hit the garage head on at about 10-15 mph. Luckily, the airbags did not deploy. Later review shows that the garage is built on a small brick frame. Had the car punctured the brick as apposed to the wooden wall, the airbags would most definetly deployed... and this wouldn't have been such a small accident. Me and dave were fine and the only damage was to the wall. The car was fine after a short time to repair the locked up brakes. Pictures follow- credit to David Hannibal for being cool enough to take photos of such a funny accident!
